SOS Family Album: Jeff Riddle

Gather ‘round, SOS family! We’re pulling out a few pages of the family photo album.

We love good stories. And old pictures. And timeless lessons and encouragements and reasons for hope. Who better to share all of those things than some of the SOS alumni family?

To know him is to love him…and also to be one call from essentially all of Memphis. Our beloved East Tennessean who chose 901 back in 2012 and remains a proud Memphian and Memphis hype man to our continued joy…the one, the only:

Jeff Riddle

What’s a Memphis org you really love?

St. Jude! It’s a fantastic place that inspires hope amidst life’s hardest circumstances. I’ve participated in the half marathon the past two years running with my friend Jason whose son has been a St. Jude patient!
My worldview completely shifted through the SOS Academy.
Sure I had grown up in the church and around Christians. But there seemingly was a divide in secular work and sacred work.
SOS was the vehicle that helped me see many Christians in Memphis who were living out their faith through business, medicine, and education.
My life was forever changed.
— Jeff, on what he learned through SOS
SOS helped me see God’s mission carried out throughout His people.
I more fully understood what works of faith in Christ began to look like and how to love my neighbors.
— Jeff, on how SOS changed him
Recruiting educators through Teach901

— Jeff, on what he's doing now
Pray that God uses the SOS family to continue to love their neighbors. Empathy seems like a hidden treasure these days!
