SOS Represents at National Youth Workers
We are always pumped to go wherever the Youth Specialties' National Youth Workers Convention take us! This year we trucked it down to Atlanta, Georgia for a four-day conference with over 2,500 youth ministers, volunteers, pastors, and friends from all over. We actually met a few folks from the Bahamas and other Caribbean islands who had made the trip to the conference. NYWC is always a great time for youth leaders to have fun with their staff, be poured into by world-class speakers and tailored break-out sessions, and rack up as much free swag as possible in the exhibit hall. We are SO thankful for all the incredible youth leaders that come through our doors each year at SOS and we love seeing them get a little bit of a break and rejuvenation at NYWC!
Daniel, Marlon, Kelly, and Emily got the opportunity to connect with folks who were interested in partnering with SOS in the future. We pray that these meetings will be fruitful and that many groups will come serve Bignhampton and Orange Mound because of the connections that were made in Atlanta! Will you pray with us?
But it wasn't all giving our frisbees and yucking it up! There was serious work to be done. And you know we can always count on Big Dog for that...
