Three New Ways You Can Partner with SOS through Giving
An Introduction to our new Donate Page!
Here at SOS we’re excited to have new ways that everyone can be a part of the work being done in Binghampton, the Heights, and Orange Mound. We’re blessed to be able to partner with homeowners to repair roofs while we train and equip thousands of students each year to better love and serve people in under-resourced neighborhoods. We want you to be a part of that work with us. So we wanted to introduce you to some of the new ways you can do that.

Our New Donate Page
You can get to our new donations page by clicking the “donate” button at the top of our homepage or you go there directly via sosmemphis.org/donate. Once you get there, you’ll see lots of new options for giving. It looks like this:
New Option #1: Giving old cell phones, tablets, jewelry, cars, boats… even gift cards!
Did you know last year 135 MILLION old cell phones were found in drawers around the country? Well, now you give those to empower people and transform neighborhoods in Memphis. Even better, you can also give old tablets, old game systems or even unwanted gift cards. Don’t worry… we’re not planning on eating a lot of Applebee’s anytime soon. Our new donate page options will actually turn those things you have laying around the house into cash for SOS. Simply choose a category and follow the instructions. In addition to electronics, vehicles and gift cards, you also have the option to give stocks, real estate, inventory, business interests, commodities, and more!
New Option #2: Text to Give
For good or for bad, texting has now become a universal form of communication. It's easy, quick, and accessible. And now you can support the mission of SOS with a text! The FIRST time you make a gift through text messaging, you’ll have to click a link and take about 15 seconds to fill out some general information. But after that, it’s literally as easy as texting the amount you want to give and BOOM… it’s done. You can even set up recurring gifts if you want.
Simply text "GIVE" to (901) 244-4771 to get started!

New Option #3: Easier, Clearer Online Giving
Finally, if you’re favorite way to give is by using a more traditional online process, we’ve even made that process easier. You can now give online with credit card, debit card, echeck, or even with Paypal. All in only a few easy steps.
Company Match, Gift Designation, and More
At the bottom of the donate page, you’ll be able to search to see if the company you work for participates in a donation matching program. If they do, you can easily double your impact with one click.
Want to support one of our interns? Or simply give towards the greatest need? You can also designate your gift.
You can even make your gift in honor or memory of a loved one.
