Ahh…everytime. Yes, thank you, Brian. Heck of a table slap there.
And, yes. We so look forward to these Monday emails because they bring so much joy. We feel uniquely connected to and loved by you, the SOS alumni family, in this season.
So, first BIG THINGS first. Like Brian shared:
There is SOMETHING BIG coming.
And, of course, it’s coming home to MEMPHIS.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, if I may so humbly suggest that you must put this date on your calendar...now:

Of course, we’ve alluded well to that SOMETHING BIG being a BIG CELEBRATION for BIG GOALS being met. And, wow, do you people do us proud.
This EBC growth campaign continues to stun and bless.
Stoked by the giving from 9 new and 13 current members, EBC annual giving has increased by $6,549.24.
...and it’s all matched.
Your increased annual giving has all been matched. You’ve officially claimed 65% of the $10,000 dollar-for-dollar match that has been offered by a current EBC member.
As of this morning, the EBC is representative of 19% of all summer staff, comprised of 106 members and gives $4,530.21 monthly for an annual contribution total of $54,362.54!
Incredible.
Remember those BIG goals?
An increase of $10,000 in annual giving in 2021 through monthly increased giving between both existing members and new EBC members.
The addition of 43 new members so that the EBC will be representative of 25% of summer staff alumni.
I mean, wow...I was pretty sure these BIG GOALS were the right mix of challenging and conquerable, but I didn’t expect to be where we are two weeks after that first email. I hope that we might still add your name to our EBC family roster or perhaps, for those of you already in the mix, note an increase in your monthly giving.
Your generosity is such a gift to SOS. To our work and budgets, of course, but so much more than that, too.
