SOS Celebrates 25 Years

This weekend we celebrated SOS's 25th year anniversary.  SOS friends came from up to 1,800 miles to celebrate this landmark occasion! 2 highlights of the weekend:

In true SOS fashion, over 100 volunteers gathered on Saturday morning to serve the Binghampton community.  This group of volunteers included former summer staff, former campers, former homeowners, members of partner churches, and various other people from the SOS community (pictured above is former summer staff Wes Whitney and former homeowner Napoleon Gordon).  It's a beautiful picture to serve alongside people from tremendously different backgrounds.  What a picture of the reconciling power of the gospel!

We closed our big celebration event Saturday night with a concert by Sandra McCracken.  Listening to some great music with great friends was a great way to end a fantastic weekend.
