Meet Mrs. Eugenia!

Mrs. Eugenia was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She has lived in Binghampton all the her life. She has a huge personality and a warm welcoming spirit. One of Mrs. Eugenia’s sisters told her  about SOS and now Mrs. Eugenia is partnered with Everett this summer. Mrs. Eugenia said she thinks it is amazing that young people take the time out of their summer to do this for people who are not able to pay for a new roof. Everyone who visits her house leaves with a big smile and now we want to share just a little bit about this wonderful woman with you. Mrs. Eugenia is among the youngest of 11 and she has 3 children of her own. In her free time, she loves to go bowling, go to the movies, and most importantly spending time with grandkids. She also enjoys traveling and has been to many different cities around the country. One of her favorite things to do is attend church. Her favorite things to do in Memphis is to go downtown on Beale Street and talk to the people in Memphis.

When asked about service, Mrs. Eugenia was excited to share that she loves helping and giving back. She also talked about how she enjoys spending time helping senior citizens.

Mrs. Eugenia was a joy to work with this summer and we are so glad we were able to partner with her this summer.
