SOS Testimony

Here's an encouraging story from Cameron Cole, Director of Youth Ministries at Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, AL.  Cameron also oversees The Rooted Blog, a ministry that seeks to encourage and equip student ministers in grace-driven ministry.

 "People can underestimate the lasting change God can make in a week through the ministry of SOS. One of our most mature students gave her testimony to our youth group, where she traced the major turning points in her journey as a follower of Jesus. She talked about how she came to understand what it means to fully surrender her life through the relational investment which her SOS college leader made during our week in Memphis. She identified that week as the time when she really fully surrendered her life to Christ. Four years later, she still remains in touch with her SOS college leader and continues to be encouraged."
